OCEANS:  CALLIGRAPHIC paintings by Amjad Butt will be put on display at the Oceans Art Galleries at 6.30pm on Wednesday. The opening ceremony will be followed by the artist’s compiled works. The show will continue till April 20, daily from 11am to 9pm.

KOEL: An exhibition of works by Arshad Faruqui opens at the Koel Gallery at 5pm on Wednesday.
The show titled ‘Just copper’ will remain open till May 6, daily from 11am to 8pm (except Sundays).

CANVAS: AN exhibition of new media works by Imran Channa and Mahreen Zuberi opens at the Canvas gallery at 5pm on Tuesday. The show will remain open till April 22, daily from 11am to 8pm (except Sunday).

KSA GALLERY: An exhibition of works by 10 artists opens at the KSA Gallery at 5.30pm on Tuesday. The participants are Aimen Kazmi, Durab Tariq, Fariha Saeed, Madiha Bano, Salman Hassan, Saman Ali, Sidrah Arshad, Sivim Naqvi, Syed Mohammad Raza and Uroosa Ishtiaq. CRUCIFIXION: Sadequain’s painting sets record for Pakistani art in UK

LONDON: Pakistan’s most admired and versatile painter, calligrapher Sadequain’s art work ‘Crucifixion’ made history for Pakistani art when it was sold a record breaking £118,750 (around 16 million Pakistani rupees) The painting was initially estimated of around £60,000-90,000.
